Palmarosa Essential Oil: Cymbopogon Martini Oil

This oil is often called ‘Indian Geranium’ and has the aroma of a warm oriental sweet floral with a hint of rose. It has a long history of use in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines. It is often claimed Palmarosa has the ability to soothe stress and tension.

It is antiseptic and anti-microbial and can be useful for treating minor skin eruptions. It also has lovely skin conditioning effects and is particularly useful in hydrating and moisturising dry and mature skin types. This oil is regenerative which is also useful for overactive or oily skin. This oil can be combined and used with a carrier oil in massage where it is said to be able to soothe sore muscles. This can also be used as a light perfume with a drop diluted and placed on each wrist.
