DLS – Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate

DLS – Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate (Plantapon Sub Corfactant SUS)  is an anionic surfactant.

This surfactant is a mild ingredient and the perfect choice when looking for a foaming agent to bring excellent foaming qualities without the harshness some surfactants bring. This product is so mild that it can be used in sensitive skin and baby products.

This surfactant is considered to be a perfect for use in both body and hair care products. It is water soluble and can be added to any formula without problem.

This is a sulphate free product which can be safely added to many products including bath bombs or bubble bars to achieve a lovely rich and silky lather/foam. In fact we selected this product as one of our chosen foaming agents in our Soaposh Bath Bomb Flexi  as we are so happy with it’s performance and it’s ability to boost foam.

DLS comes as a fine white powder. It can be easily airborne therefore breathing apparatus should be used when working with this product.

Use up to 3% for leave on products and 7% for rinse off products. Refer to your safety assessment for more direction.
