Bicarbonate of Soda TATA:  Sodium Bicarbonate

This Bicarbonate of Soda is a naturally mined material and is an extremely white fine powdered product.

During tests this bicarbonate of soda acted exactly as expected and the resulting bath bombs were perfect. Although we do advise testing for yourself before making large batches.

Bicarbonate of soda, also sometimes known as Baking Soda, is an essential ingredient in the making of bath bombs.  It is used along with  Citric acid.   This product also has water softening properties so is very useful in many bath preparations particularly in parts of the country where water is harder. It helps bubbles form and stay in the bath water as well as making the bath water feel softer.

Bicarbonate of Soda TATA can also be used in luxurious bath teas, milks, salts etc as a lovely addition on its own or combined with a little citric acid to add a little fizz to the product which can aide dispersal of other ingredients. This product is also often used in deodorant making.

This product is often utilised as an effective household cleaner. It can be mixed with white vinegar to make a general spray. It can also be placed in the fridge where is helps to absorb odours.
