Pink Himalayan Salt Coarse

Coarse Pink Himalayan Salt INCI:  Sodium Chloride

This delicate pretty pink salt is a natural rock salt that was formed from ancient water beds millions of years ago. These beds were then covered in lava during the formulation of the Himalayas. This salt is mined from these mountain ranges. This salt is the purest variety of salt as it contains no toxins.

The rich trace minerals found in this particular type of salt account for the mixed pink hues.  There are over 80 minerals responsible for these differing colours.  Including  iron, potassium, calcium and magnesium with bromide, strontium, bicarbonate and fluoride.  Because of the mix of minerals some variation in colour may be expected, in fact it enhances the this product.

Pink Himalayan salt fine or coarse is an amazing addition to baths. It is well known for it’s detoxifying properties and is claimed it may help the removal of toxins from the skin. Due to this and the fact we like it so much Soaposh has added this salt to our Bath Soak Flexi assessment.

This salt naturally contains a tiny amount of insoluble particles, so if dissolving, some small amount of residue may remain.
