This delicate pretty pink salt is a natural rock salt that is mined in the Salt Range mountains in Pakistan. The trace minerals, potassium, calcium and magnesium contained in this salt create the pink colour therefore some variation may be expected.
This salt naturally contains insoluble particles, so if dissolving, some small amount of residue may remain.
