Isopropyl (Rubbing) Alcohol 99% INCI: Isopropyl Alcohol

Commonly known as rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol. This product can often be found in aftershaves, hand sanitisers, body sprays, room sprays and many other cosmetics. 

This product is often used by soap makers as a spray to remove bubbles from the top of melt and pour soaps after pouring. If layering soaps this can also be used to help the soap layers stick together. Score and spray the set layer and pour the next.

Isopropyl (Rubbing) Alcohol 99% can also used as a binder, along with witch hazel, when making bath bombs and can be mixed with mica or glitter and used as a paint when decorating dry bath bombs.

IPA can also be used as an extremely effective disinfectant on surfaces, jars, pots etc. when making cosmetics.

This is a solvent and de-greaser that does not corrode metals or plastics so is extremely useful as a cleaner. It can also be used on glass or screens so is a great household help and can be mixed with water to make an all purpose spray for most surfaces.
