Sodium Percarbonate ‘Green Bleach’

Sodium Percarbonate is an environmentally friendly, biodegradable, white, free-flowing granular powder mainly used as a ‘green bleach’ product. Another must for the eco friendly cleaning routine.

This product is also known as: Sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate or oxy bleach.

This product is a compound of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide which, once reconstituted with water is active as a bleaching/cleaning agent for around an hour after which, it breaks down leaving behind water, oxygen and sodium carbonate (washing soda).

Sodium Percarbonate ‘Green Bleach’ helps keep white fabrics white while removing stains. It also enhances colour brightness of other fabrics while still removing stains. This powder can also be used as a pre-wash solution for tougher stains. This is often used as an ingredient in homemade washing powder.

Simply add to Soaposh Universal laundry base to make a kind to the environment but not to dirt and stains extremely effective laundry detergent.

It can be used as a pre soak additive, mix approx. 2 tbs to 4lt hot water. For use as a laundry booster, add directly to the powder dispenser in the washing machine. 

Perfect for sanitising and general cleaning. Add 4 tbs to a litre of hot water, dissolve for a general disinfectant.

Sodium percarbonate has so many uses in and around the home. This product can also be used outdoors on patio furniture or on wood to remove mould.

Always wear gloves when handling as this product can cause skin irritation.
