Simmering Granules

Simmering Granules are little natural rounded salt beads. They can vary in size from between 1-2mm.

These simple plain simmering granules can be left white ready for the addition of fragrance or can be coloured with water based colour. Of course they can be made in a mix of colour to suit your décor.

Fragrance to use:  Soaposh fragrances, but not restricted to EU fragrances. These beads should be fragranced prior to colouring due to some fragrances slightly changing the colour of granules. Addition approx. 2%. Please check CLP on the website and use to label your product if you are intending to sell these.

Which colour to use:  Water based soap colourant.  Add liquid colour drop by drop or powder colour a tiny amount at a time after fragrance has been added as this can alter the final bead colour, stir well between additions. Colours do go a long way! Once these simmering granules have dried (approx 24 hours) they are then ready to be placed in the well of a burner or electric melt warmer where they will give off your chosen fragrance. If the scent starts to fade give the salts a little stir, this often re-distributes the fragrance oils and means they will not have to be changed as often.

The clean up with these little beads is very simple, just tip cool used beads into the bin. Then wipe out your burner and you are ready to change your fragrance or add more of the same beads.
