Menthol Crystal Powder

Menthol Crystal Powder has the same properties as our menthol crystals but in a powder form which many find easier to use.

This is a popular ingredient in various products due to it’s cooling, soothing, and aromatic properties. Derived from peppermint oil, menthol is a natural compound known for its ability to provide relief.

Menthol crystal powder is a derivative of solid, crystalline forms of menthol extracted from mint oils. It has a strong, refreshing scent and a cooling sensation when applied to the skin or inhaled. How to Use Menthol Crystal Powder in:

Soaps
Dissolve a little in oil or alcohol and add directly to melted M&P soaps. For Cold Process add to the batter before trace and mix thoroughly. Can be used at between 0.5 – 2% but your own assessor can advise.

Shower Steamers
Dissolve in a little alcohol before adding to your shower steamer base, then make as normal.

Bath Soaks
Dissolve menthol powder in warm bath water to experience a rejuvenating and cooling sensation. This can help soothe tired muscles, clear the sinuses, and leave the skin feeling refreshed.

Massage Oils and Balms
Menthol crystal powder can be dissolved in carrier oils (like coconut, jojoba, or olive oil) to create cooling massage oils. Adding it to balms or ointments can offer a soothing and calming effect for sore muscles or joints.
