Magnesium Hydroxide Powder. This powder is a safe and naturally occuring mineral both vegan and cruelty free. It is often used as a buffering agent in cosmetics.

This versatile alkaline powder is also used as a slow release ingredient in home made deodorants to slightly raise the PH level of the skin.  This, in turn, inhibits the growth of odour causing bacteria.

This makes it an ideal ingredient for individuals with sensitive skin or those who are prone to acne.

The general purpose of Magnesium Hydroxide in cosmetic products is to absorb excess moisture or oil, as well as to maintain the pH balance of the product offering optimal product stability and safety.

This ingredient also has antibacterial properties.
