Laundry Powder Salt base

Universal Laundry Powder Salt Base has been put together by Soaposh to allow the addition of Sodium Carbonate (Washing Soda) or/and Sodium Percarbonate (Green Bleach) plus fragrance of your choice creating an amazingly effective and great value laundry powder for personal use. 

To Make Laundry Powder:

1kg Landry Powder Salt base

650g Sodium carbonate

Fragrance or Essential Oil 3%

To Make Laundry Powder Heavily Soiled:

1kg Laundry Powder Salt base

650g Sodium Carbonate

150g Sodium Percarbonate

Fragrance or Essential Oil 3%

This is an Eco-Friendly, versatile and highly efficient salt base and something to make creating home made eco friendly washing powder that much easier. It is enzyme and phosphate free, and also completely biodegradable. 

Once the active ingredients have been added this powder keeps extremely well but should be kept in a sealed container to stop any damp.

We have tested our Universal laundry powder salt base with the above additions and have found it to be ‘kind to the environment but not to dirt and stains’. Exactly what a laundry powder should be.

Recommended use: 2-3tbs per load, fabric softener is optional but in soft water not really needed.

Always wear gloves when handling as this product can cause skin irritation.

NB This product, once mixed as suggested, is not intended to be sold as a laundry powder type product, this would require further, more detailed, ‘detergent’ regulation testing but this is intended as a DIY laundry powder base for making your own.
