Bentonite clay is a naturally occurring clay created by the weathering of volcanic ash. This clay is also commonly known as Montmorillonite. It is a very light brown/cream fine powder.

This clay contains over 70 trace minerals and is often used in cosmetic formulations where it has been praised for it’s skin and hair reviving properties.

This clay is often added to cleansers and face masks due to it’s ability to gently draw excess oils, impurities and toxins from the skin. This clay can also be used as a hair mask to assist in balancing the hair and removing toxins on both the hair and scalp without leaving hair dry.
