Beeswax White BP grade INCI: Cera Alba

Beeswax is a fatty substance secreted by bees in the cell walls of the honeycomb. This white wax starts it’s life as yellow beeswax then is cleaned and refined removing the colour and most of the beeswax odour.

This wax is not compromised by the refining process and is still a natural skin loving moisturiser.

White beeswax is a popular choice to add to products and can be used in soaps, lip balms, gels, deodorants, beard and moustache wax and many other cosmetic products. There is nothing that gives quite the same glide on the skin as beeswax in a product, or keeps that product in place to the same degree.

Beeswax White BP Grade is supplied in pastille form for ease of use. This wax works really well as an emulsifier, emollient and thickener in many products.

Whereas yellow beeswax adds a wonderful natural smell to products. It also brings a depth of natural colour that some customers love in their formulations. If this is the case then maybe our yellow beeswax  would be a more suitable option  for you Yellow Beeswax

White beeswax is also a wax often used in candle making. It can be added toother waxes and is often claimed these candles burn brighter and for longer with less smoke.
