With all of the excitement and tweaks for the new website, we are a little late with this but Halloween will be upon us in a month. It is one of the events that is very synonymous with Autumn and the darker nights, warm clothing, tree colours changing, cosying up under throws with warm drinks of an evening – and knowing that we are heading towards the Christmas season.
This can be a profitable period for many craft makers who create eye catching and useful products that play on the ghosties, ghoulies and things that go bump in the night with colour and presentation.
If you have a Soaposh Flexi assessment, check to see what colours and packaging you can utilise to create Halloween themed products. At Soaposh Central we have been making bath bombs in our gorgeous pumpkin and cauldron pots which are always popular with family and friends. These can be decorated with mini soaps (decorative only and instructions to remove before use) or frosting and petals if you have the corresponding bubble cup assessment.
Halloween themed moulds can be used with the Bubble Bar assessment and the Bubble Cup – have a look at the many images in our Facebook Chat group for inspiration. Even a body butter can be labelled with Halloween images and given a seasonally appropriate product name. Spooky labels with images can be modern with bright colours or the traditional look such as oranges and greens. Bats on painted bath bombs can be a fun blue or a typical black depending on your marketing strategy.
If you attend markets regularly or even just at this time of year; you can create a decorated Halloween theme corner to display these products. Use dried petals for a bit of table confetti, some hanging signs, items such as inexpensive ceramic pumpkins or parts of Halloween décor available from the budget high street shops. Maybe add some battery powered pumpkin fairy lights. These can all be saved and re used for similar displays in the future.
Have fun and let your imagination run wild
